We spent a couple of days in Katherine restocking and fine tuning our set up and took the kids to their first underground caves. The Cutta Cutta Caves are just south of Katherine and easily accessible.

Next we stayed a night at the Victoria River Roadhouse and had a fish down on the Vic River - no luck here and definately looked like croc country! Luckily the campground is up a hill from the river!

We had a lovely time exploring and skipping rocks down at the Old Victoria River Crossing just a bit further down the road. The sunset on the escarpment was beautiful!

A stop for coffee and lovely homemade Anzac biscuits in Timber Creek and we were at the WA border ready for our Kimberly adventures!
